Primarily MAC Cosmetics, however there is the occasional brands such as Anastasia Beverley Hills, Colourpop Cosmetics, Beauty Geek, Ben Nye & Stilla.

MP Makeup is happy to travel anywhere within New Zealand and the pacific islands (at the clients cost) however most work is completed in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty & Auckland Regions. Travel is calculated at $0.75 per KM outside of a 25KM radius of Hamilton Central.

Non-refundable deposits are required to secure your booking, and are 20% of your total booking. This is because when you book in a date/time MP Makeup may turn away other work to ensure they can complete yours. The 20% deposit is compensation to the Makeup Artist if you do cancel and they miss out on other work as a result.

Bridal trials are highly recommended for the bride. This is to minimise stress on your wedding day and to keep time per person to a minimum. Standard Bridal bookings are allocated a maximum of 60mins, and traditional ethnic bridal is allocated a maximum of 90mins. If you do not get a trial and your makeup stretches over this time due to uncertainty about the look or needing to try multiple products, this may compromise the artists ability to complete all makeup services in the allocated time.

Bank Transfer cleared prior to the day or exact cash on the day.

Traditional Ethnic Bridal tends to be a lot more dramatic than a standard bridal makeup. More product is used, and more time is allocated to your service to ensure your makeup is perfect to the style you want.

You may add people to your booking according to the Artists availability, however you may not remove people from your booking.

Have a think about what styles of Makeup you like or dislike and where possible have a rough idea of what you will be wearing. If you have any reference images of looks you like you are welcome to send these to Maia prior to your service or have them with you on the day of your service. If you don't have any thoughts about the Makeup you would like - don't worry! Thats what we are here for. Finally, on the day, come with clean makeup-free skin where possible. If you have an outfit which is tight around the neck or difficult to put on you may want to wear it to your service, so makeup doesn't transfer onto your outfit. Make sure you are showered and teeth brushed if need be, and if you need any or products to touch up (lipstick, powder, blush) have these with you. If you have any special skincare you like to use, then prep your skin with this. If not, we have skincare on hand!
